Connectivity to TV ?

I connected my D3 to my hotel's television this morning, and got sound, but no video. I connected red, white and yellow to the AV1 (and changed the Input source on the television to AV1) input...

I just looked at the Devices that they support, and for Cowon, they list:
iAudio 9
J3
X7
S9
D2/D2+

I'm assuming that the D3 will be fine with audible files for the D2, but am wondering if...

Well, the one thing that I did, that was not part of the instructions was that I renamed the file from update.zip to update_cowon_d3.zip. I just now renamed it, and it's running.
