Yes, it's been a loooong time since 1.93, which was a beta at that.

Curious, do you know if the software generally runs on the DV, Pilot and Sport? Ie hope they might upgrade the newer model's...

WMP is acknowledged by most to suck. Try Media Monkey. It will create m3u files and sync. You might also search for playlists in this forum - lots of comments.:cool:

Upgrade is easy, and works w/Vista just fine. One note is that bookmarks will not remember where you are if you're using the Genre trick to play MP3'd audio books. It will go back to "the" file...

Lack of bookmarks is its the NS-DV's biggest single flaw.

Also wish software existed to make Audible type AA files, which have a great bookmarking feature.

I just shut my player off mid-way...
