Yes, about $100 for the newest edition (the Classic) and more for the others (bass edition and Mk. II). Not sure what the difference is between the Classic and the Mk. II though.

There's an app called Shazam (and several others too) for iOS and Android that can do this. Just play the song for a few (or several? IDK I've never used the app) seconds and it should be able to...

I've not heard either one, but I've heard a fair number of IEMs and headphones. My opinion is that you get more value (better sound vs. dollar spent) when you buy headphones than when you buy IEMs. ...

I took the screens off of them and they do sound a lot better. The screens were EXTREMELY cruddy. I take back what I said about them sounding terrible. They sound okay now, but nothing special.

Yep, that was my next move, though I didn't know it by that name. I'm sure the grimy screens are partially to blame for the terrible sound. Compared to a Soundmagic E10 though, these are crappy. It's...

Found my old IEMs

I was cleaning out a drawer full of old cables, batteries, etc. this morning and found my old Sennheiser CX300-B IEMs that I didn't even know I still had. They are in super-rough condition and I...

Yep!
No, not really. I'm not sure I can sell them. It might end up like the time I sold my J3 and bought another one a month later. I still do want more suggestions though. Anyone tried the VSonic...

I have been listening to this off and on for a few days, and my verdict is...I like it. It's similar to BBE, but it is a much better-designed app than the BBE Sonic Pro Max one. It's easy to get a...

Cheaper alternative to PFE 232?

Does anyone know of an IEM that has a similar sound to the PFE 232, but that is a good value? I'm thinking about "downgrading" because the thought of having such an expensive IEM kinda bugs me, to be...

Yes, 8000 music files on each memory (internal and external) for 16000 total, at least on my J3.
I have a strong suspicion that the X9 is also 8000 on each, and that the manual is mistaken, but I...

Yes, that's a good stretch. I love, LOVE the song "Heavy Horses". It's one of my favorite Tull moments. The lyrics are wonderful too.

Jethro Tull is awesome. Thick as a Brick, Aqualung, and Heavy Horses are my favorites by them. Stand Up is great also, but in a totally different way (i.e. straight up rock album akin to Cream).

The Beatles will always be my number one. They have (by far) the most quality-control of any rock band. There are probably less than five Beatles songs (out of over 200) that I don't like, and even...

Oh, okay, now that you kindly posted the definition of "best", I can tell you that the best bookmark/spatula/DAP around is the Cowon E3. I doubt Sony has a model that can rival it.
