It wouldn't work too well, don't forget the Zune uses the aux/headphone/whatever cable is plugged into the 3.5mm jack as the antenna, and being inside your car would weaken the signal.

But regarding the hiss, I get that too on my 6121, it's probably a limitation of having to use an audio...
