But your device is flashed to the French ROM which supports it (XXKPQ) while my ROM (ZSKP7) is the original ROM. I do not want to flash it to the French ROM because I read that they both are the same...

It does work as long as the maps are pre-cached. The GPS takes a while to get accurate though, why dont you try for yourself?

Check the mp3 page of the us site it shows the wifi 4.0 http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/mp3-players but its only the picture of the device and it doesn't display the 4.0 as one of the players or one...
