I asked Sandisk and they said that they're all V2.

I would recommend rockbox if you plan on playing FLAC files. My Fuze went from 9 hours of FLAC playback to 15 hours of playback after rockbox

1. Keep the metal hook closed with a piece of tape (one that won't melt or burn).
2. Melt the button until the plastic fuses with the rest...

And to clear any confusion, the v1 Fuze cannot update to v2 firmware. Similarly, the v2 Fuze cannot downgrade to v1 firmware.

I ordered a Fuze from the SanDisk store and it has 2.0.1 firmware. That means it's 100% a v2 Fuze?
