I had the same volume issue during my 15 day experiment with Poweramp. Volume was all over the place when trying to adjust.

When the time was up, I deleted it and went with Winamp.

Interesting. I wondered what was going on when confronted with that screen. I removed the back and took the battery out. Hopefully now I have another solution.

I don't know if that's actually what's at issue, but I use a Netgear router and also have no issues with dropped signals or fluctuating strength.
