Solutions for Album Art Problems
So, I got my vision:m 3 days ago, and I already have about 3,700 songs on it. I wouldn't trade this player for any other. But I ran into a problem that is quite annoying. I listen to a lot of independent and music that doesn't belong to an album.
Well... when I put it on the player, I was messing with the album art, and somehow I messed something up severly. I tried to set album art for one set of songs... and now, it has it set so that more than half of my songs (that I have come across) have the same album art. And it's not even the album art I had chosen, it's some... three 6 mafia album art, which is a group I don't even have! I've tried to fix it, but I can't figure out how to remove the album art (I can't even find it). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Provide a link next time mars: WMP11
WMP1 is brilliant for organising album art, and applying it, but Iv never tried removing the Album art off a track or album before, you might need to fiddle around with it for a bit, and if you cant find a way, just go to the help file, or use a dedicated ID3 tagger,you'l find links to one of those pretty much anywhere on this forum, try and software section aswell.. You'l have to take the messed up files off the player, fix them, then reload them though, its a bit difficult to do it while all on the player.

Iv had it a for a while now, and Iv still working it all out, well, not really, but whenever I try to get to involved with it all, my computer freezes cos its so shite, but yeah, you can access all you music and edit it on your zen, just takes longer. Depends how much data you have on your PCs HDD and the ZEN's HDD.

MP3 Tag Tools will remove all your album art from the tags in about 5 clicks and 10 seconds.
File -> Open Directory -> browse to your music folder and make sure the "recurse subdirectories" button is checked. Press Open. Let the tracks load in. On the bottom left of the screen, choose Picture. Press CTRL-A to select all files. Click Remove Picture. Have a beer.

Okay. So, I just bought an M. It hasn't appeared in the mail yet (tomorrow
 .) My other MP3 player didn't support Album Art, so I've been going through WMP11 and getting album art for everything. Does this mean that it won't appear on the player? If so, is there a workaround of some sort, or am I FUBAR?

blat, i am so annoyed.
i bought a zen vision:m a couple of days ago. it all looks great, but this little bug is driving me crazy. i uploaded some album arts to some directories (using the media explorer and drag & drop). it went good. but: i have one directory of many many songs, all of them with <unknown> album. i didn't give them album art, but for some reason, the zvm gave all of them some album art that i never even saw. we're talking about 700 songs in one directory, all with album <unknown>. how can i remove this damn album art? i dont use wmp11 btw, and downloading and reuploading 700 songs is a pain in the ass, and i cant do it everything the zvm decides to go crazy. why cant i see where the zvm puts his album art files?! ive searched on photos and the whole drive, but they're nowhere to be seen. i wish i could just delete it. gah, its my player, let me see all the dirs and delete what i want to. sheesh. i tell you, this is one of the rare times in life that i actually feel like this smily -  . i want to curse more but i say to myself, control yourself. please fellas, help me, so i can be relaxed and use this smily:  .so just for recap - how can i delete album <unknown> album art?

If you never install the Creative software, then everything might work silky-smooth for you. Otherwise, just check out the Windows Media Player 11 Beta 2 thread in this forum.

Hey,
me again  I have a problem with Album Art. Some of them stopped working(zvm doesnt show the image) I dont know why. Those pictures worked before...and now they dont. When i go to folder on my PC, THEY ARE THERE! I replaced them anyway, but no possitve result. Im still having the same problem. Any ideas whats wrong with it? FYI i dont have any problems with adding the new ones...

Need help with the Album Art as well.
I just got my ZVM a couple days ago, before that I had a Zen Micro which didn't have album art. When i first put music onto my ZVM, i was playing around with the Album Art and now have a similar problem to the 1st poster in this thread: the album art for 1 cd appears as the Album art for more than half of all albums on my ZVM. I came across this forum and tried many of the suggestions in this thread with no luck. In WMP11, the correct album art is displayed for most cds but on the ZVM it still basically only shows the 1 album as the album art for almost every cd. Any ideas of what to do?
