Default NS-DA2G - What is firmware 2.004?

Does anyone know of the differences/fixes between 2.004 and 2.003 for the Sport 2G Audio model?

I just bought another of these audio players off Ebay (from DealTree) and it came with a firmware version of 2.004 with a date of January 24th 2007.

The latest I've been able to find referred to here or on the Insignia site for download is 2.003 (though it is mis-labeled as 2.03 on this site).

Default I'm also confused...

Mine came with firmware 2.004 installed already as well. The latest on the Insignia site has been 2.003 for months now. It'd be great to see a list of fixes, but I haven't been able to find any, either.

Anyone else out there have some insight?

The one I had was an ebay purchase from dealtree. Player had a weird problem where it would reset everytime you plugged it into the computer. So if you'd selected MSC mode it wouldn't matter because it would reset to the default and if you'd changed screen orientation etc. those would all get reset.

I returned it for a refund. Hope that isn't the one you bought .

Very weird, I just bought another off ebay from another source. It also has 2.004 and also shows the reset problem (on two different computers).

My original player with 2.003 still works fine on both computers.

Let me see if I can dig into the differences, I know they are very minor, but the SDK base might be different.
