x5 60 gig not showing all my files

Hopefully this is a quick question that you will already have the answer to hand.

Planning to use my old x5 in my living room and keeping my zen as my walking around player.

Have filled up the x5 with everything in my zen which comes to 13,000 and something files but the x5 doesn't show the complete list of artist folders but they are definatley all in the hard drive when you check it on the p.c.

I think it only shows 9,999 files rather than all of em.

Anyone got any idea how to get round this?

Rockbox does not have a file number limitation if I am not mistaken, and the X5 can run Rockbox.

Thanks for such a quick reply Derf. I'll give that a go then. i was just reading the stuff about Rockbox and was serriously considering loading it on anyway so you have talked me into it ;-)
