Refurbished Pilots
Anyone bought a refurbished Pilot? If so, interested in your satisfaction with it. My Pilot is becoming a little wonky. May be the battery and I will try replacing that first. Pilot spontaneously shuts down, especially when on the usb charger... but then it will work well for days on end.
Looked around and have not seen anything new for sale I like as much as the Pilot.

I've had three friends buy them refurbished. Two were fine and one had the same problems yours seems to have. But for $35 I guess you have the luck of the draw. The closest other brand I've seen is over at buy.com where they have an 8gb iRiver spinn for $87. I like the 3.3" AMOLED widescreen, but it doesn't take SD chips for more memory. I might check this out again when my Pilot dies. But right now it's running fine.
