Was faster at the time of the P2 and the P3. And UCIs were more beautiful (but that must be a cultural difference lol)

And Hop, UCI themes already on Audiophile Indonesia!

Now I have a problem. I'm using FW 1.27 (US version), and I recently installed the Android 2.0 theme. When I tried to get back to the "Style 1" theme (the original theme from Samsung), the screen said "loading" (without showing the style 1 to 4 options) then the player restarted, and back to showing the android theme. How can I get my default theme back?

I have been away from some months
and returned to good news finaly UCI themes on M1
Quickly i installed 1.27 Firmware and so far is working well
Some nice themes already out there and more to come.
I am already enjoying the first nice themes out there.
But upon installing the Android 2.0 problem arrived.

Note: This problem is only with the Android 2.0 theme
no other themes is affected


WARNING: Do not install Android 2.0 theme


This theme is buggy
and the worst bug don't let you change the theme for another
As soon you try to change theme M1 Reboots

In my case conecting M1 to the pc using this theme
the M1 kept conecting and disconecting and i could NOT acess the M1
So could not remove the theme from M1 or drag files to m1.

When I almost started to panic
I found the FIX to get Rid of this Uci Theme.

This is how you fix it without formating if you like me happened to install this theme:
1. In M1 Go to system
2. then Default set

Now all icons/widgets will be reset so you have to organize and drag
around the icons/widgets again on all your themes.
BUT atleast you don't need to format M1.

3. IMPORTANT : Next using Style 1 or Style2 conect M1 to pc and Remove the android theme
(Do not activate the Theme again when you have reset the settings, you cannot do the removal with android theme on since it will then disconect the m1 from pc)
Why remove the android theme? because every time you browse all your themes on M1 as soon you reach Android theme it will make M1 reboot if you do not choose it.
And if you choose it you cannot change back because of this bug.


I Will install it again when this issue is fixed and someone else can confirm it gives no more mayor problem.
I understand creating a android-simulation-like theme on M1 is quite a job so is probaly not easy to make
But Bugs need to be fixed as it is now is useless
it only let you Beta-test it gives you some seconds Wow efect and the rest is headache to remove it.

Note: This thread started as a request to fix the problem that happened when installing android 2.0 theme and progressed to a solution and a advice for anyone that can run into the same problems
its not clear how big the problem is with this theme
so new users can easy just pick up this theme and install it
they should not.

Trust me is cool theme but is very buggy we need to wait until author fixes out this nasty bug.

Meanwhile Let`s hope Samsung release many new Nice UCI themes for M1
We realy need a Dark/Blue/Red Neon like theme more dark themes

It's sad to say but all M1 UCIs are ugly, even those from YEPP. Koreans designers are very bad
