iAudio X5L Dual CF Mod

I currently own an original iAudio X5L and wanted to upgrade or completely replace the hard drive.

My current hard drive is pretty full and with Rockbox installed runs a little slow so I wanted to do one of two things:

• Replace my old 30g hard drive with two 32g CF drives using a dual CF card.
• Replace my old 30g hard drive with a larger better spec hard drive.

The first option is ideal and would solve my two problems by an increase in performance and an increase in hard drive space but I am not sure if it is possible to connect two CF hard drives?

The second option increases my hard drive space but I am not sure if a better spec hard drive is available or would necessarily increase performance?


Any advice on the above two problems will be greatly appreciated.

I can't believe that there is no one person on this forum that can offer the least bit of advice to my problem.
