I'd be interested in a little more help for removing the back panel (I think I read that that was a screw holding it in?) and replacing the battery. My player has been freezing lately, and now it is just shutting off. I'm thinking the battery is dying. I was going to order a new one.

There's a small plastic disc at the bottom edge of the back panel, to the left of center. You have to pry it off to get to the screw underneath.
