- multiple profiles, each with its own score table
- multiple characters
- start floor option (you can start from any unlocked floor)

Thanks, I've given my best, so far.

Also, I forgot to mention that the game is controlled by the accelerometer and the home button (for all the jumps). This preview is just a replay recorded by the game itself, while playing on actual ZEN. Then, it was played back on the simulator. That's why it seems I don't control the gameplay at all. Don't let that confuse you.

That's fine, Habhome, actually.

Mangoon: Yes, there are multiple characters and everyone will be able to create and add new ones. The game is not directly compatible with the original Icy Tower characters, though.

OK, the development is continuing great:
We are working on sounds right now, tweaking the last details and I expect we can make a first release sometime during March. So, you won't have to wait too much longer.

Today, I have launched a webpage of the game.
It will contain all the information, the download link (one will also be here on the forum) and a special feature: GLOBAL HIGHSCORE TABLE

It will be possible for each player to upload his highscore to this global list.
I made a utility in java for this purpose which automates the whole process.

So, everytime you connect ZEN to PC, you just run this score uploader (if you want) and it's out there.

We used 00webhost to host our files for pingus, and updater, but we added a forum and they removed our account and our files . So just as a hint, dont upload a forum ie: vbulliten, or smf.

Right. I wasn't planning to add a forum but thanks for the advice anyway.
So far I've got just a few simple php scripts for the highscore upload and a game update notification.

I just tried it and i am jealous. It runs extremely smooth and has great art. The response time for user input in amazing. Really, I can not say enough about this game, even now, we are struggling with Pingus due to the players limited capabilites. ( Soon as we made our new hill engine that was based off slope, and we added the miner ability, the player can no longer keep up with our game )

Yes, it is full, but it can still be classified as beta because there might be bugs I haven't discovered yet. If there are more people playing the game, they either find some errors, or they don't. In that case, I'll rename it to 1.0
Furthermore, there are many ways we can make this game even better. In time.

Oh, and jbob: ZEN Tower is fast, because it is a simple game. I understand you have some trouble, after all it is a lot more ambitious project. I wish you good luck.

I just tried the game on my player, and congratulations for it, it's amazingly well done. I still suck at it though =P

It made a lot of fun to draw all these graphics. Nohajc wrote 3327 rows of code for this game, this is awesome, isn't it?
Maybe we will add more features to it in the future
