Default [solved] IHP 120 battery replacement with ipod2

hello,
I like to replace my broken Iriver IHP120 with a new battery. I read somewhere that its possible with a 2200mAh Battery for Apple iPod 2G 1G 1st 2nd Gen. (easier to get in New Zealand)
Can I use this battery as it is or do I have to change something? Are there any howtos?
many thanks
Martin

Sorry, I remember people using ipod batteries in the h120 but they need to switch the polarity of the plug.
I have never done it but found this:

Yes, but also keep in mind that Ipod 1G/2G battery is also a suitable replacements for H120, it is however, slightly thicker than the H120 battery (would require to apply some pressure when closing the case) and will require polarity switch(the black and red wire), but the 2200 mah capacity and cheaper prices is really paying off for the extra work.

I used an ipod touch battery in mine to give lots of extra space. Those batts are ~$3 on ebay and I still get plenty of battery life. It helps for upgrading to a ZIF harddrive.
