What more can i say than... awesome, amazing... arous... alliteratively speaking a very, very good review.


Initially thought you had a bone to pick with the D3 (judging from early forum posts) but it sounds to me that the Gingerbread Update really did improve Usability to an acceptable level.

I guess the performance issues are mostly to blame on the TCC8900 and future software optimizations won't help much, that's a pity.

That thing (at least the CPU-side, the Mali GPU is quite decent as you mentioned) seems to be way too inefficient, operating at 1,5 Volt according to this site: http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=cpu&id=...lechip_tcc8900

Well, the things that annoy me about the D3 are still the same as before, and I included them in the review: http://anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=64667

I only got the D3 when the Android 2.3.3 upgrade came out, I actually didn't try it with 2.1 on it. I guess that is a good thing, at least for my blood pressure. But yeah, reading other people's reviews based on 2.1 firmwares, in hindsight I cannot relate to many of the issues they describe.

at my place ,the 32 gb d3 is cheaper than the 32 gb j3 .
which one should i go for ?
