E454 came with only 7gb, is this normal?

Hi, I bought it and I thought it had 8gb, but when I open it it only has 7...
what is this?

There's always a disclaimer about that in the specs.

Memory

• Memory Size : 8GB
• User Memory Capacity (Approx.) : Approx. 6.99 GB (7,513,210,880 bytes)

There's different ways used to count capacity, look up gibibyte, and the manufacturers always use the one that makes it look like you're getting the largest capacity.

This page is for the E354 but the stats are always very nearly the same.
