Green screen when playing videos on Iriver Spinn

When I play videos on my Iriver spinn all I get is a deep green screen. All the other functions perform normally, pictures, music. Any clue what the problem is. I never had this problem before. All the videos I downloaded from Youtube and converted via Freemake video converter.

I deleted all the videos and downloaded a new video. Still the same result. I've used this spinn quite a bit so I assume it's just wore out.

Have you tried to convert the video to another format? I have had the same thing happen to me and the "type" of format was somehow not supported. I use AVI most of the time and I usually have to use iRiver plus to convert it.
