YP-U1 1GB shows 512M

I had this YU-P1 formatted and after that it stopped working.

I followed instructions on how to recover it with sigmatel software but still got a problem.

I can make it be seen as 512MB stick memory.

When I try to flash it to its firmware (any version) I got the message "the semaphore period has expired.

I searched the web and found that I need set the NAND back to 1GB but I don't know how to do it.



Any help, please!!!
