Default How do I change the icons on my clix?

I recently bought a clix2 and am very happy with it. I've loved the huge amount of control I'm given over the interface, and change the font, orientation, and background each several times a day.

One thing, however, I have not been able to do, is figure out how to make custom icons like I saw on the iriver site. Does any one have any idea how to do this?

Lightbulb The answer to your question are “Themes”

Hi GoldRust, The answer to your question are “Themes”. The User Interface of the Clix (2) is made of Adobe Flash(R).

Simply have a look at the Korean iRiver Club, google(R) for .fla or .zip files, download one of the larger .zip files (up to 10 MB) and alter them in the way you wish. Make sure it is a Clix and no e10 or other iRiver theme. It is a normal, editable Flash project file. You could also try this link.

If you do not have a license of Adobe Flash (CS 3, but version 8 with Flash Lite 2 extension will do as well), you can download a 30 days trial version at Adobe’s.

It will be much easier than you might think at the beginning. Start altering the given content, you do not have to start from scratch—and please share your results with us here on anythingbutipod!

If people like it, you will probably change your name to GoldRush.
