where to buy X5L 30 GB?

My iPod is going to bite the dust soon...like literally. I have to restart it all the time, I've already replaced the battery once, and sometimes I have to hit the iPod to get it to work. We want at least 30 GB, and i love the battery life of the X5L. We own both PC and Mac, so the creative mp3 players are out. We also need the player to have an internal microphone for recording college lectures.

I've been all over and haven't found any for sale (except ebay) does anyone else have a source?

Is there something that you would recommend to me other than the X5L?

Seems they're sold out at the usual places... I can only find the X5L 20GB, or the X5 30GB.

Same here, dfkt, strange, even JetMall is out of stock in the US, might be worth sending them an e-mail if you're really interested…

Yeah, let me know if you find any. I want to get a spare for safe keeping just in case my X5 breaks or if the X7 sucks for some reason.

For a spare, you could just buy the 20GB version... you can always put a 30/40/60GB(single-platter) drive in it.

Actually, mine's 20gig as it is but I find good enough. If I need more space I'll definitely think about your idea.
