Default Crank Up The Bass??? (Equalizer on V+)
I thought I read somewhere that there is an equalizer on the Zen V Plus. I can't find it anywhere. Am I hallucinating or is this true?

It's under the system / audio settings / EQ, the best place to put EQ settings.

No, not really. I was being "sarcastic" at Creative for choosing such place to put the EQ settings. It would make much more sense placing it on the context menu. Oh well...

It made sense once I went looking for it in the player. I thought it was on the computer software not the player itself.
