Default So you've had your Zen for 2 or 3 weeks. What do you wish it had?

So you've had your Zen for 2 or 3 weeks. What do you wish it had?

My list is:

1. I wish it would show what % battery life remains.

2. I wish when you turned it on, it would start playing where you left off. I listen to loads of podcasts and it is so annoying to remember to set a bookmark before turning this thing off.

3. When turning it back on and resuming play from a bookmark, instead of stopping when that bookmarked track is finished, I wish it would automatically play the next track.

-the ability to record radio, like my ZVM does
-a better podcast program that is better than zencast, automatically download new episodes and transfer them to the player... all in a one click operation

My ZEN DOES resume from where you left off. You just have to make sure that your song isn't paused when you turn the player off.

That's weird. It shouldn't matter if it's paused or not.

Weird indeed, but it's the same case with my Zen V Plus

I would also like to add - what the??. Even ZVM has that (even if the song is paused)!

Check out Creative's site for the new firmware update maybe that'll resolve it some problems. So far I read that it resolves the SD card and making it more integral.

Creative took out radio recording ever since it caused a stink with the record companies with the Zen Vision: M which was restored on the 30GB model but never included with the 60GB. I feel that my Cowon D2 has poor radio record quality just because of this. those bastards.

BTW, I want to buy the Zen 8GB ($200) and I have a PNY 8GB SD card. I just want to know if you guys are enjoying the SQ from the player, mainly the bass. My D2 is a bit toward brightness and low end can be better.
