Default Is there a setting to copy tracks in order??

I bought my wife the Zen and she noticed right away that something was wrong with a sound track from a musical. The story wasn't in order anymore

I remembered that my Zen W did the same thing when I transferred music. Some of the
albums had all the tracks in a different order.

Did I miss something? Is there a setting to save these correctly when transferring or is this
something that happens when transferring music to mp3 players??

Thanks for any help. ** I didn't read the help guide cover to cover yet or search for an explanation **

Default Ooops ! WMA files

I forgot , all our music files are in .wma format on the Zen and the Zen W

Could that be the problem for copying tracks in the correct order or is it just an issue
with using Creatives software for music files?

Maybe I should be using Windows Media Player 11?

Thanks

As klumsy bot said, make sure the tags have the proper track numbers, that is how music is organized. MP3Tag works with WMA files also.

I had the same problem with my Zen N200 a couple of years ago and I never solved it other than going in and putting numbers in front of each title. This was an unacceptable fix. I will look forward to finding a good answer to your question here. I did not have the same problem with my iPod.

Make sure you are using the older generation of ID tags. I have also noticed that the ZVM sometimes will not respond to the tags, especially regarding album art.

Transferring through mediasource seems to be fine though.
