1. My Zen isn't detected by the comp. Also, I can't follow the "My computer" < Properties < Hardware < Device Manager advice, because it DOESN'T DETECT!!!

Anyway, for what it was worth, I couldn't add ITunes songs to it by each CD compilation (it didn't even bother to ASK if I wanted to convert them) but I DID manage to get one song from my Morpheus folder, as well as a handful of pictures onto it! Why???! I don't know.

My second dilemma is this:

What's the difference between cutting the screen power off, leaving a song to play, and using the A/V out option?

Does the A/V save any power? J/W

Sometimes, the zen has taken an age to be detected. I've read several threads of people who couldnt get ther machines detected who left their player plugged into the computer and left on overnight/all day. When they got back it worked.

Still need Help. It's been a week and a half, and if it weren't for this comp, I'd literally be going fuckin' Mad because my Zen is no longer "Functioning".

I need a sure-fire way to get this thing up and running again!

gameboy_11, what do you mean by you have been going to and fro between your computer and your cousin's computer? Was your player detected on your cousin's computer? What windows are you using? Maybe you should try resetting your player then connect it to your computer to see if it can be detected. Hope it works.
