IMO if you really want to get the most out of it, then 60GB is the way to go. I don't know why it was so hard for creative to include a USB host in the 30GB, but for a high capacity player this features will surely come in handy.

because the 30GB's hardware doesn't support USB host. and the 30GB was out before the 60 so im pretty sure Creative didnt plan on adding it to the 60 but did like possibly at the last minute.

My point is that its a very small, but extremely useful feature that most players should have in the first place.

Where you can connect 2 devices directly without the use of a computer or laptop, it's mainly used for a digital camera to MP3 and transfer files. It's meant for digital cameras and MP3 players because MP3's generally have more memory so you can transfer all the pics you have taken put them on you MP3 and take more. I suppose it's like a portable hard drive thing for you camera. I had it on my previous MP3 (Samsung YH-J70) but it was extrememy slow so there was no point using it, is it better on the Vision:M???

Ohhh ok. I knew about that function I just didn't know that it was called USB host.

I haven't yet used it; I upgraded my 30 to a 60, so it doesn't have USB host.
