Thumb Down Clear bass isn't that good

Some time ago now I've noticed that if you use clear bass in your walkman with a setting more than 1dB then you will get a very noticeable decrease in high and mid frequencies.

This is why I don't like clear bass that much.

It sounds like someone is decreasing these sounds when bass is present.

use the EQ to compansate, I do, it does quite well

It's clear bass, and I don't think I've noticed this. The EQ does tend to be more reductive than additive, though, which takes some getting used to.
