Samsung U3 Mtp device problems

Hey,

I bought my new Samsung U3 yesterday...and when i try to connect it to my computer, it shows a found new device ballon. saying found mtp Device...then it shows the Found new Hardware Box.
I've tried installing in the advanced mode and the recommended
and both times it shows i have to restart.
So i do and then i come back and it repeats the process again.
I have tried getting the MTP protocol thingo and it doesn't help..and Windows Media Player doesn't show up in my Remove Programs list..even with the show updates clicked..any idea...because i don't really want to take it back.

i had the same problem as you but now i fixed it. try downloading windows media player 11 and installing it again, it cleared my problem right up.

what to do when my windows is black. by installing win med player 11 it wabts to me to valid my win. at microsoft web site. HELP
