Freezes everytime I turn it on

Hi,
One night I was synchronizing music to my zen vision M when I accidently tripped on the cord and it got unplugged. Now, everytime I turn my zen on it freezes when it displays the word "ZEN" and stays frozen until the batter dies. I can recharge it but it doesn't matter seeing as I can't get pass ZEN when I turn the player on. My <nobr></nobr>computer doesn't recognize the player anymore either. I tried resetting it several times but it didn't anything. It remained frozen. Is there anyway I can fix it?

you need to reload the firmware i think

Boot your player into Recovery Mode and run Disk Cleanup. It that doesn't work, then boot back into Recovery Mode and reformat your drive.

Hi im new here and im having the same problem. im willing 2 reset or clean nething, but if u clean ur disk or reformat the zvm, will it erase all of the data (like music, vids, and pics) or will it leave it cuz i cant listen 2 my zvm and i really want to. plz help if you can

p.s: it just stopped working one day, i didnt trip over cords or nething, but i assume tat the same thing has 2 be done.

Are you posting from a cell phone? I can barely understand what you are saying.

Doing Disk Cleanup will not delete files unless it finds any that are corrupted. Reformatting, however, will remove all your stored media, leaving only the firmware intact.
