|
i got a completely brand new Sansa View 16GB it has firmware .03.And right when i connected it to the computer it was ok, After i disconnected it, it would always refresh. Remember this is brand new. My previous 8GB view didn't do that. Is this a bad thing should i return it?

Sounds like it is MSC mode not MTP mode.

I second what advcomp2019 says, that's my experience too.
MSC has to do this as it has no WMP application to do it for it. It's not very intelligent though and even updates when you've not made any changes. It also doesn't detect when you've changed any ID3 tags. You have to delete the file, let it refresh, copy the file back again, let it refresh again. I have heard some users it refreshes in MTP when they "fully" shutdown too. Mine doesn't though. |
