Albums folder?

After recently updating my zen using wmp11;
i opened up creative mediasource organizer and noticed that in the core components of the zen(music, video, zencast, pictures)
There wasa new folder called albums.
This folder cannot be deleted and apparently contains no files at all.
What is this folder and can it be deleted?
is it for the album art?

I would NOT remove any folders you find in the ZVM's root directory! Although I suspect the Albums folder may have shown up as a result of using MediaSource after you already established sync relationship with WMP, it's quite possible the folder is used internally by the ZVM's database.

That 'albums' folder is the direct result of syncing with WMP11. It is used for album art.

I have formatted my Zen VM and synced with Media Monkey and that folder does not show up and the Zen uses the art in the tags.

Reformatted the Zen and then synced with WMP11, the folder shows up full of album art.

Indeed, I've experienced the same thing myself. I don't think it's for album art, though. I think it's how WMP presents the album data to the ZVM's database.

hmmm, well mine is full of all the album covers I have on my player. I can see them if I enable thumbnail view.

Are you saying that you have something in the 'Albums' folder other than pics? That would be very strange indeed one way or the other.
