Any recommendation for a good vent mount? Preferrably a Herbert Richter type.
If you listen to the View in your car, where do you put the unit? |

i would love for a vent mount or something like that. But i haven't found one so far.

try looking for an adjustable cellphone one, or one that will fit the view. although they would only be mounts without any connectors.

I ended up ordering a vent mount from Semsons. It's a bit wider than the View, so I added two small strips of padding to the clamps. Not the most elegant solution, but now it holds the unit up very well. Works for me. For now anyway.

forgive my "ignorance"...but vent = hot/cold air...cold air = condensation...condensation + electronics = problems...just a thought...

My GPS has been vent mounted for a year without any problems, condensation or otherwise. And if such a problem arose, I could always manually close the offending vent.
