Playlist max of 500 tracks?

I can't make a playlist with more than 500 tracks.
can anyone else confirm this limitation?

Yes. This is a known restriction. I am not sure whether this is going to be addressed in the next firmware update, or even whether they consider it an issue.

That's disappointing!

I was able to create a playlist of well over 500 in WMP and transfer it over, but on the View it only shows 500 in the list when it is played.

I hope they will fix it soon - I was able to create and use playlists of around 4000 items on my previous mp3 player and I'd like to be able to do this on the Sansa.

well i don't use many playlists so it doesn't matter anyways.
