i I recently purchased the samsung t10 as a replacement for my k5 and i am very happy about it. I love it!! But I am becoming very frustrated and dis eased because when i try to sync songs through windows media player it does the first 5 or 6 songs but then when it gets to the 6th or 7th i get an error message from WMP saying that my device is operating slowly or not at all. So I called samsung and I:1)updated the firmware 2) format(ed) it 3) reset it 4) updated windows But nothing seems to work. I really want to get music on there but its not working. Then I tried it through Samsung Media Studio and it synced a few songs then it went to close because the program is not responding. I have service pack 2 and winxp. can someone please help me I never had this problem with my k5.

It's quite possible that you have a defective unit. Try another USB port first though. make sure you are using the latest windows media player as well. Also, I'm like 100% sure XP is on service pack 3 update all the way. And what happens if you try to copy your songs over by just selecting all the songs in your library or copying them one by one? is the USB port 1.1 or 2.0?

Quote:
Connect your T10 to computer. Go to My Computer > T10 > Media > Music Then just drag any music into that folder. |

Try a back USB port instead of front ones. If that doesnt work, then its probably the player.

Maybe corrupted drivers?
I suggest to uninstall windows media player 11, then install wmp 10 and try. If doesn't work, come back to wmp 11. in my case, also if quite different, it's been the only way to link T10 to my PC. |
