NWZ 81x UMS/MSC mode vs. MTP

Recently I have been evaluating pros and cons of UMS/MSC vs. MTP mode for the NWZ-818 and for now will continue to use it in UMS/MSC mode for the followong reasons:
- album art and release year both have been always correctly transferred in my tests (provided the tags are accurate, I used ID3v2.3). In MTP mode, I experienced the same problems as some other users have reported.
- it is possible to sync directly from iTunes, using either one of iTunes Agent or iTunes Sync. Since my library consists of mp3 and m4a, but does not contain any wma, this is the preferred way for me (MediaMonkey might be an alternative which includes wma, but I have not tested it).

Drawbacks:
- no playlists (since the WMP playlist format is the only one to be used?)
- no syncing of wma files
