i want to paint my vision m

hey i have the pink vision m. and i'd like to paint the pink part white. i opened the zen up a while ago to see if the pink part would be easily accessible and it didn't appear to be. the clear plastic is attatched the the pink i don't know how, i'm not sure if it's glued on top or what. does anyone know how i can take the clear plastic stuff off the front to reveal the pink so i can paint it? is it that simple or is it impossible to remove the clear plastic without ruining my player lol? because i'm not goign to paint over the clear plastic because it would look terrible haha
