hi guys
i got a question about text files on the t10. is it only possible to put .txt files on the t10 or can it also work with .doc or especially.pdf? i see that sms can't convert any text files, right? so how do i get a pdf file on my t10? i'm trying to put a book on it, and as a size matter pdf would be the only way, i guess... if not possible, do you know any free progs that convert pdf into .txt files? how do you guys use the reading feature on the t10? for what? and also can you recommend the datacasts? thx |

I do not know about the existence of PDF files on the T10, however, to convert a PDF to text simply use Adobe Acrobat to do this.
On the file menu, choose Save As Text. |

Maybe in future firmwares pdf support will exist... hopefully...

Probably not. PDF is a complicated file format.

A PDF file will be displayed the same whenever you open it.

You could just convert the PDF to jpeg, then you can view it "the same" wherever you open it as well. Works OK for Presentation slides in PDF format, otherwise it won't really work because the image zoom of the t10 is not really suitable for this kind of viewing...

The PDF format has many more advanced features than a jpeg file does, and yeah I wouldn't want to be zooming in so much just to view the text. The screen on the T10 just isn't large enough to make supporting PDF files worthwhile.
