Recent release of MSC/UMS v.2 US Firmware?

Has Samsung in the last week posted a new official Firmware download that provides for MSC/UMS format for the T10

I am downunder in Australia on a Mac at home with US 1.29 and as such have not tried to upgrade the Firmware

But I am sure that last time I looked at the v.2.00 Download on that page it ended with MTP not the current MSC?

edit: Seems that the Upgrade instruction PDF has been changed as well ... and interestingly there are now Asian fonts in the Explorer window -> T10 root procedure

Have they simply made the Korean v2.00 widely available now!?

Only hacked UMS 1.55 or 2.00 work from MTP versions

Hmm. The MSC ending really suggests that it is a MSC/UMS firmware. But the big question is: Can you actually use that firmware to update a MTP-T10?
Or did they merely intend to update their site and copied the korean instructions and firmware?
The instruction screenshots are those you can find on the yepp.co.kr site.
I think it is a mistake (it is a UMS firmware, but you cannot update to it without installing the modded firmware first), but hope otherwise.

I think you maybe right pycbu and without ready Admin access to a Windows system didn't want to be caught with a non functioning firmware

Seems they have now replaced the v2.00 MSC firmware download with the latest T10V303MTP as well as the update manual

It's annoying coz I checked the Product spec before buying and it stated it was a UMS device!

Guess I'm lucky I found you guys and this Forum
