Video Out on the Fuze?

I know it is early to ask, but does anyone know if the Fuze supports video out the way the View does?

Enzo, are the menu options there?

With all the video out cables showing up on eBay, and what looks like direct support for DivX (according to the codec information Enzo posted) video out would be a great thing to have. Especially since I already got one of those eBay cables.

No there are no video out options. But I will break out my home made video cable and see if it works when i get a chance or see if i can hack something together.

I'm guessing that's why it has a proprietary connector like the View instead of mini USB like the Clip. Hopefully they have some legitimate excuse for the proprietary connector other than making more money off cables.

Well, I guess it is in a "maximizing profits" kind of a way. From a "satisfying the needs of the customer" perspective? Not so much...

As long as it doesn't require a "authentication" chip like Apple does with their new iPods (including the "Classic")

Notice the "at this time"
