DRM WMA.......Clix gen2

I'm thinking about getting the iriver Clix2 8g mp3 player and was wondering if it plays protected files like DRM WMA's.
When I read the cnet review it says "The Clix supports MP3, OGG, and WMA files, including DRM-protected songs purchased from online stores such as Yahoo Music".
Currently I have the iriver IFP399T which has great sound but when I downloaded some music to it and tried to play it I got a message..."DRM WMA" and it would not play. Is there any software updates I can get for the IFP399T that would allow me to play DRM WMA's? If not can someone confirm to me that the iriver Clix2 8G can play protected DRM WMA's.

Yes, clix2 can play DRM'ed music in MTP mode.
