Just to follow up, I used my griffin power block usb ac adapter to charge my s616f and it seemed to work just fine. The charge time wasn't longer or shorter than usual, so I think everything is OK.

I bought that same charger for my sis' iPod nano. It works with my S618.. you can even use the player while charging

My girlfriend just got a A816 and I was wondering where the 800mA spec for a wall charger is coming from? I couldn't find anything about the required charging amperage anywhere. I figured the standard 500mA would be enough since that's the amperage from a usb port. So I'm wondering where the 5V, 800mA spec is coming from
That said, would 5.3V be too much (500mA)? |
