hah...i bought my 4 gig pilot for $139.99 in November...then i used the warranty for an 8 gig pilot in March when it was $119.99.
The prices keep dropping...i'm worried that they're going to stop selling them soon

Yep, apparently the "2 days only" sale they had last week (this was one of the sale items on the circular cover) wasn't so special, after all...

Tempted, but it's not like the lower price makes up for the lack of MPEG4 (Neuros) native playback capability, garbled RDS, frustratingly difficult SD slot, etc...

And as far as stopping sales, wouldn't surprise me, since the display stands for these are always empty (they're so popular they can't even keep the display units in stock! ... Not), and I think some people are still put off about buying a $100+ lifestyle device that comes in a blister pack on a hook, rather than in a nice box like an iPod, or heck, even a Sansa...

Actually in my BB they have them "hidden" in the locked case only the 4GB versions are "hanging" out.

Couldn't resist even with all the supposed design flaws (it amuses me that people who really hate this thing seem to want to hang out in this forum). This thing rocks with bluetooth and now I can have a dedicated player for my car and one for working out or on the go.

And BB's PNY 8GB SDHC are 1/2 off @ $45... makes it 16 GB for original $150 price.

I hope that's half off of $45 (making it around $23) which is a good deal not 1/2 off = $45 which is NOT GOOD (the latter appears to be what you mean). I've routinely seen 8GB SDHC for between $25 and $30.
