Default Lyric display possible with my zen v?
Hi, I don’t have a zen v plus, just the normal version. Can I display lyrics with this? Or do I need the video player that the plus has, or is it possible to upgrade my zen with software that allows me to play video and/or view lyrics.

No, I don't believe you can. The Zen V doesn't support text file display.

As far as I know.... no Zen series player support displaying lyrics. I believe some of the older MuVo 's do though.

I probably need to go with an i pod, and there's no software upgrade that would work with my, or an Zen? sorry if that's a silly question.

No, sorry. There is no software that will "enable" this feature on a Creative player.

No problem. I would recommend that you take a look at some more MP3 players that support displaying lyrics before jumping on the iPod bandwagon though. Good luck!

I will, the cheaper the better; I'm a student. I like my little Zen, it's a pity it doesn't have this application. Also, I should have been paying more attention to the title of this forum beore my secondlast post - sorry about that. If you could recommend a player i would be very greatful.

Honestly, lyric support may sound like a nice feature, but usually ends up be a pain in the ass to work with; especially if you have a lot of music. I definitely wouldn't let the lack of this feature detour you away from any good player. If you like the Zen and believe it is perfect for you (besides the lack of lyric support), then by all means get it. There are plenty of other stronger features of having/using a Zen that may clearly out way the lack of being able to see the lyrics.

You're right, and I intend on keeping my zen. The reason I wanted this feature was for language studies. But I might buy a separate mp3 especially for the job. Sometimes I end up carrying pieces of paper around with me, and that can be annoying. I’ll let you know how I get on. Thanks for your help.
