Hi people,
fresh fuze owner here. I'm wondering if any knows about or has successfully used the fuze to add files via USB 1.1? I bought the 8gb model and I'm having trouble adding files, with my old Apple laptop that unfortunately only has USB 1.1. ![]() Basically nothing seems to happen, the internal memory does not appear as an external storage device. Any help would be appreciated, Thank you. |

Do you have it in MSC mode? Apple computers don't support MTP, so MSC mode is the only way to go, it will show on your computer as a flash drive in MSC mode BTW

thank you for the quick reply ^_^
At first I tried it in Auto-detect mode, and then in MSC mode, and seemed to be doing anything. |

I've used the Fuze with USB 1.1 on a PC, no issues whatsoever (both MTP and MSC). It's just slower.

hey, thanks for letting me know it can be done! I thought it might work after a firmware upgrade, but alas no luck. I tested it in MSC on a pc, USB 2.0 of course, & it worked fine. Back to the drawing board... |

Does your laptop have enough USB power to work? I think the Fuze needs 500mA to work the best. Some devices can not run with 100mA or less.

ah, you may have a good point there. Although I haven't had any problems with bus powered USB stuff in the past, this could be something to look into?
