Shutting off the Zen Creative V Plus
I'm having problems turning on and off my player. I have the 4GB version and am as well having problems locking the player. I think it might be that bar that might be broken. Any advice other than emailing the help line. Other than that the player is great. Thanks

Maybe there is something underneath interfering with the usage of the button/switch. Is it new or still under warranty? If so, I would consider returning it in or sending it for repair. If it isn't under warranty and you don't mind opening it up to take a look yourself, feel free to try. Here are a couple of videos of the disassembly here and here that should help. What's kind of helped was blowing into where you turn on it maybe cleaning out the dust.

Perhaps there is a bit more in there causing the issue then. Have you had a chance to open it up?

No, I feel that opening might cause more damage than good. So for all I know it could be a chance by chance.
