Default Help! a thing fell off and i dont know what it does!

so i had been hearing this rattling noise inside my Zen Vision: M for a while now, and i got curious about it. i opened it up today and lo and behold this important looking orange thing fell out from inside it! I have no idea what this orange thing does, Ive never seen it before, and my player seems to be runnig fine :/ (its probably some kind of raw sewage container). does anybody know what this [aperature science thing we dont know what it does] does, and if its important, should i pick it up, and just stuff it back into it, or should i just put it in the corner, and deal with it later?

P.S. heres a pic of the thing that fell off:

Looks like an SMD fuse. See here. Does your ZVM still charge? If so, your ZVM may no longer have any surge protection and could easily end up ruining the charging circuit or more.

Well, if you know how to (and if it were mine), I would. I'm curious...... You mention the ZVM works fine, but does your ZVM still charge?

OK, thanks. Just wondering.... Again, I would still get it fixed. Everything is there for a reason. Good luck!
