Do you realy need SMC?!!

I have a friend hat got the VIEW and he can drag-n-drop MP4 movies onto it, no problem. I was assuming i would be the same for the FUZE. I've tried and tried to get any of my 100 MP4 movies to play on the FUZE with no luck. Is there any way to drag-n-drop MP4 videos on the FUZE like the VIEW??
If not, it's getting returned
