Default Using cell quick charger possible with Zen V Plus?

I have a cell phone quick charger that supports mini usb. Do you think it would be safe to use with my zen v plus?

I was thinking how handy it would be too have the extra juice when I'm on the road but I don't want to damage my player. (of course)

Thanks!

Hello NewZen. Welcome.

The Zen V Plus is picky about AC charging. See this post in this thread for more information.

Thanks for the welcome and the reply.

Tried it, didn't work. Bummer because its a battery powered charger. Would have been really handy!

Much caution needs to be taken when using AC chargers. Too much voltage can instantly ruin your player. Pay close attention to the output specs of the charger. With USB devices like the Zen's, the max is usually 5v, so keep that in mind.
