Hi, I searched forums, but couldn't find any information.

I would appreciate some kind a review, even a few sentences, or just comment if you like it or not, and why.

This player looks like it woud suit my needs and I'm considering buying it...

you need the software - Sonic Stage to put music onto the player.

any updates on this player? Is there a new firmware for drag and drop compatibility yet? If there is, any links to that?

you don't need sonic stage if you have windows as it is shown as a memory stick!
please buy this player
as APPLE don't deserve to be the leading retailers!!!!!!!

hm.... could you please send a lik, a picture, maybe print your screen and post it? I'm just puzzled - everyone else says you MUST use Sonic Stage... which is pitty....

You do not need Sonicstage to put MP3s into this player. Use "Sony MP3 File Manager". Google for it. It's an official Sony software. As the name implies, it only works with MP3s.

However, I believe you need Sonicstage (and its OpenMG module??) installed to update the player's firmware.

Sony has come up with an updated version of this player: NWD-E025.

It does not require sonic stage (it is drag and drop). If you google it, you should be able to find pictures of it.

I meant to locate for purchase on the net.

Yeah... does not seem to be available in the US. They are available in the asian countries though - I bought one myself the other day. Quite nice.
